Zyaire J. Game

    The Scholar of the Month represents success in the classroom, at home,  or in the community. The 2021 January Scholar of the Month is Zyaire G. from New Heights Middle School in Brooklyn, NY. He was nominated by Mr. David Mercaldo. Mr. Mercaldo says Zyaire recently joined the student council and is the 7th grade President.

    Zaire has been anoutspoken leader and helped prepare the Inauguration viewing meeting. Zyaire found his voice and wrote and delivered an impressive speech in front of over 100 people. Tanasia Stevenson

The Scholar of the Month represents success in the classroom, at home,or in the community. The 2021 February Scholar of the Month isTanasia Stevenson from Lawrenceville, Georgia . She attends Jordan Middle School. She was nominated by Mrs. Stephanie Holmes. Mrs. Holmes says Tanasia is a bright young lady who works very hard in all of her classes. She has been able to maintain AB honor roll while adjusting tot he new normal at their school.Tanasia iswarm and friendly. She walksup and down the hallways with style and the brains to match. Mrs. Holmes says Tanasia is definitely a quiet storm of knowledge and demostrates the qualities of a scholar at all time.s.

 

Tanasia moved from New York when she was 5th Grade. She has grown to love Georgia, but it took her sometime to get use too. In her free time she likes editing videos, reading, and she recently discovered athing for cooking.In 5 years she will be headed to college to either major in law or become am Obstetrician, but that could change. Tanasia has big dreams,. She quotes Walt Disney... "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them,

Gabrielle S. Ancrum

    The Scholar of the Month represents success in the classroom, at home, or in the community. The 2021 March Scholar of the Month is Gabrielle A. from Kipp Soul Academy in Atlanta, GA. She was nominated by her mother. 

Her mom says that Gabrielle os a well rounded student and friend. She takes pride in her work while also participating in her extracurricular activities. She is part of dance, violin, Young Litigators Club, Universal Book Club, Yoga Club, and Bright Futures Business Club. 

Gabrielle's mom also says that she has not stopped achieving her goals in the midst of a pandemic and starting a new school.  

Gabrielle says she has some of the best teachers. She loves to cook, nature, and animals. She also wants to open up her own Yoga business.

Brionna Coleman

    The Scholar of the Month represents success in the classroom, at home, or in the community. The 2021 April Scholar of the Month is Brionna C. from Language Academy. She was nominated by her mother. 

Brionna is a joy & has a smile that can light a dark room. She’s witty, smart & fun, loves to dance & make TicToks. 

She’s lived in 5 states (VA & NC twice). Being a military child she’s had to move a lot, but it has given her a can do & will do spirit. Her resilience has made her the model student she is today. 

She has amazing work ethic, manages her own assignments, & even volunteers to assist her teachers with mini admin tasks in the new Zoom school & help fellow students with difficult assignments. 

She’s all the things mentioned above & she loves to read, but we failed to mention, Brionna is bilingual! She has been learning Spanish since the second half of 1st & attends a language immersion school. 

Brionna inspires us daily; with her diligence, commitment, excitement for learning. She will do great things!
